These Terms of Service set out the agreement between you (the customer) and Bobcat Student Movers when you book a move or storage with us. Please read them before your move. Booking a move means you accept these terms.
Estimates and Quotes
For local moves, we provide an hourly estimate based on the details you share. The final cost depends on the actual time and crew used, so an estimate is a good-faith projection, not a guaranteed total. For long-distance moves, we provide a binding written quote: the price we put in writing is the price you pay, as long as the inventory and conditions match what you described. If the job changes substantially on moving day, the price may change, and we will tell you before we proceed.
Deposit and Cancellation
A $99 deposit holds your date and crew, and it is applied to your final bill. If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know at least 48 hours ahead and we will move your deposit to a new date or refund it. Cancellations inside 48 hours may forfeit the deposit, since we have already turned away other work to hold your slot.
Liability and Valuation
Standard coverage is released-value protection at $0.60 per pound per article, included at no extra cost. Full-value protection, which covers the repair or replacement value of your items, is available for an additional charge — just ask before your move. We carry up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment. Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time after delivery.
Summer Storage
Student summer storage starts at $39 per month per vault and is billed monthly. Stored goods are covered under released-value terms unless you arrange added coverage. We are not responsible for items you store that are perishable, hazardous, or improperly packed. Balances must be current before goods are released.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana. Bobcat Student Movers operates under US DOT and MC authority for interstate moves and Montana Public Service Commission household-goods authority for moves within the state.
